Hi, I’m a general  counsellor practicing in Brisbane (Australia). I work for two organisations. While the majority of my work relates to mens’ issues, I also work with women from time to time. I work with individuals and groups across such areas/topics as - depression, careers, work matters, anxiety, domestic violence (family abuse), relationship difficulties, anger, conflict, motivation, loss, grief & loss, sexuality and self esteem/personal identity.

I have a professional interests in - male sexuality, conflict/anger and working with emergency service workers.

My career has afforded me the opportunity to work with persons of differing backgrounds, across various industrial settings and from all stratus of society. I have a strong commitment to valuing diversity. I’ve been involvement in the Human Services sector for over 18 years with various government, private and community based organisations.

The approaches or methods used in my work are client centred, solution focused, strenghts based and narrative therapy. When working with clients I combine adult learning principles, coaching and counselling techniques.

I bring to my practice the benefits of practical experience, supported by academic qualifications -
